These baskets come from the remote Binga district in Zimbabwe where the tradition of creating these baskets has been handed down from generation to generation. The baskets have been beautifully handmade and are versatile in their use. They can be used as center piece decorations for your table or counter top, or as a platter for everyday items or used as a wall art either individually or as part of a collection.
Binga Baskets are handwoven from ilala palm using a simple over and under weave. Each Binga Basket pattern is unique, no two are ever the same.
